Who can open a Coconut Pay account?+

Anyone 18+ with a valid government ID in a country we support. Verification takes about two minutes.

Is Coconut Pay a bank?+

No. We're a fintech wallet, think Apple Pay or Venmo, with a Coconut Card for spending in the real world.

Can I have more than one wallet?+

Yes. Each currency you hold lives in its own wallet, and you can swap between them at real interbank rates.

Money movement

How fast do transfers settle?+

P2P transfers between Coconut friends are instant. Card top-ups land within seconds. Bank transfers follow normal rails.

Are there limits?+

Everyday accounts can move up to $5,000/day. Premium members move up to $25,000/day. Pro members on Coconut for Business have configurable limits.

Do you support international transfers?+

Yes, to 30+ currencies, with no markup on FX and no weekend games.

The card

What's the card made of?+

Solid metal. Etched palm, embedded chip, no embossed numbers. Personal finishes for members, a distinct business finish for Coconut for Business.

Is there a fee for the card?+

Everyday members get a free virtual card. Premium members get one metal card included, additional finishes for a one-time fee. Pro members on Coconut for Business receive a distinct business finish.

What if I lose it?+

Freeze it in one tap from the app. Order a replacement the same way. Funds stay safe the entire time.

How do you keep my money safe?+

Bank-grade encryption, biometric unlock, 3-D Secure on every online charge, and real-time fraud monitoring that doesn't text you at 3am.

Do you sell my data?+

Never. We make money from interchange and our Premium and Pro memberships. Your data is yours.
