Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ prison release date brought forward – Music News

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs will be released from prison a month and a half early.

Page Six reported that Combs’ prison release date has been pushed up from 4 June 2028, to 25 April 2028, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

This comes after Combs was accepted into a drug-abuse rehabilitation program in November, which could have helped to shorten his sentence.

The fallen music idol, who has been serving time at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institute in New Jersey, initially had his sentence increased from 8 May 2028 to 2 June 2028 in November last year after allegedly violating multiple prison rules.

The latest release date comes as Combs filed to appeal his four-year sentence in December.

Lawyers demanded his immediate release and either reversal of the conviction or a reduced sentence, according to appeal court papers.

Prosecutors responded in February, opposing the appeal request.

Combs has been imprisoned since his September 2024 arrest.

He was charged with racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Combs was found guilty after a two-month trial on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and was acquitted of the other charges.
