Cardi B has opened up about frequently finding herself at the centre of drama.
The Bodak Yellow hitmaker has famously clashed with several artists, including fellow rappers Nicki Minaj and Azealia Banks, as well as her estranged husband Offset, on social media.
Cardi admitted in an interview with Paper Magazine that being involved in constant drama has taken its toll.
“I be every kind of tired and it exhausts me,” she said of the feuds. “There’s drama that I expected to come. Because if I’m throwing shots at b**ches, I expect the drama to come from them.”
“I’m not gonna act like, ‘Oh, it wasn’t gonna come when I’m directly talking to you,'” she continued. “I can’t be surprised that a b**ch is trying me, because I pull their cards.”
The 33-year-old added that while she doesn’t mind a response if she starts the beef, she finds it frustrating when the drama comes out of nowhere.
“However, when people just be trying you, and you’re not even paying attention to them, you’re not even talking to them about them, it’s like, This is why I say that I am the drama,” she explained. “I even bother b**ches when I don’t even give them attention. It’s still an issue. So that just means that is that. I am the drama.”
Cardi, whose new album is titled Am I The Drama?, insisted that avoiding conflict is almost impossible.
“No matter how much I avoid it is gonna come to me. It’s gonna come to me even with the stupidest stuff,” she told the publication. “Look how it always falls on my lap, honey. One way or another, it just don’t f**king stop.”
Most recently, Cardi and Nicki engaged in a heated exchange on X, which escalated into personal insults, allegations involving their children, and references to their individual struggles.
