Grand Winner: “Who is Next” by Stefanie Waiblinger, Germany

The Pure Street Photography Awards 2025 have announced their winners, showcasing 147 striking images selected from over 1,100 entries across 34 countries.

Judged by David Campany and Dimpy Bhalotia, the competition highlights the raw, spontaneous spirit of street life through powerful visual storytelling. Stefanie Waiblinger’s Grand Prize-winning photo, “Who is Next,” captures a joyful bouquet toss on Istanbul’s Galata Bridge, while Cazerella Tavs’ “Meeting in the Middle” turns a rural cow standoff into poetic irony. Chris Yan’s “Mirror” blends reflection and reality in a surreal Beijing market scene, and Nicole Prüm’s entry cleverly contrasts vintage gangster flair with modern NYPD presence. These authentic, human moments will be exhibited at Mumbai’s iconic Jehangir Art Gallery in January 2026, marking the awards’ first transition from screen to gallery.
