Taiwanese YouTuber Huang “Jerry” Xiaojie, known for his ambitious creative builds, turned a two-meter-tall Hatsune Miku statue into a fully functional gaming PC. He was responsible for the artistic direction of the project, developing a custom cyberpunk take on Miku for a PC-modding competition in Taipei and overseeing the overall visual concept.
The 3D prototype of the statue itself was created by Taiwanese artist Herbie (原型製作), who sculpted the base figure that Jerry then transformed into a PC chassis.
“At WirForce 2025, Huang Xiaojie and I showcased our Hatsune Miku console, which uses the theme of “evolution” to interpret the character of Hatsune Miku. It explores how she evolved from software into a physical form, and the “process” incorporates elements of cyber technology to interpret this theme. We used numerous mecha parts and computer hardware to illustrate the central theme of software “evolving” into hardware, ” Herbie said.
Inside the statue, Jerry integrated high-end ASUS ROG × Hatsune Miku components, including a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and a ROG Astral RTX 5080, so the piece works as a powerful modern gaming rig rather than just a display.
Even though the build lost to an Alien-themed Xenomorph PC at the competition, Jerry considers this life-sized Miku rig his best work yet and a statement of what Taiwan’s creative modding community can achieve.
