Kiss turned back the clock Saturday night in Las Vegas with a powerful 16-song set that marked their first electric show in nearly two years.
You can see the full set list and fan-shot video from the show below.
The band performed without their famous greasepaint and costumes, and nothing on the stage blew up or carried somebody up into the sky. “No makeup, no bombs, we’re [still] pretty fucking good, right?” Paul Stanley noted at one point.
Earlier in the day while hosting a cooking class – yes, really – Stanley went on a bit of a humorous rant after a fan asked if the group would play “deep cuts” during the Saturday night show, declaring that sticking to the classics was the way to please the most fans.
But he might have had his fingers crossed while he was talking, because the band did dig out some rarely played gems, including “Take Me,” “Got to Choose” and “Love Her All I Can.”
At the end of “Cold Gin,” lead guitarist Tommy Thayer paid tribute to his predecessor Ace Frehley by playing the solo from the end of Alive!’s version of “She,” then pointing his finger to the sky.
Another former Kiss lead guitarist, Bruce Kulick, joined the band for the final two songs, including the traditional “Won’t Get Fooled Again” instrumental break in the middle of “Lick It Up.”

This was the first full electric show Kiss has performed since they concluded their five-year long End of the Road farewell tour with two December 2023 shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
On Friday night they performed an acoustic set which kicked off with a candlelit moment of silence for founding lead guitarist Ace Frehley, who died in October.
