Foo Fighters to play two gigs at Liverpool’s Anfield as part of 2026 Take Over stadium tour – Music News

Foo Fighters will play two nights at Liverpool’s Anfield next year as part of their Take Over stadium tour.

In what will mark Dave Grohl and co’s only UK shows of 2026, the Everlong rockers will take over the iconic football ground – home to Premier League club Liverpool FC – on June 25 and 27.

The first night will see Inhaler and Otoboke Beaver support. The following night, the band will be joined by Royal Otis and Die Spitz.

The Liverpool shows were teased when the band’s initials were marked out on the stadium’s seats.

The group – completed by Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee, and recently instated drummer Ilan Rubin – will kick off the European dates in Oslo, Norway on June 10.

The leg will conclude at NOS Alive Festival in Portugal a month later, on July 10.

General on-sale for the newly added dates begins Friday (14.11.25) at 10am local time via Ticketmaster. Tickets are limited to six per customer.

It comes just weeks after the band returned with the new song Asking For A Friend.

The new tune follows this summer’s Today’s Song, and there’s the promise of plenty more new music.

They also announced a 2026 North American jaunt with their pals in Queens of the Stone Age.

The trek kicks off on August 4 in Toronto, with further stops in Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Nashville, Washington D.C., Fargo, Regina, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Las Vegas.
