Leona Lewis’s ‘One More Sleep’ crowned most streamed British Christmas hit of the 21st century – Music News

Leona Lewis has cemented her status as a modern holiday icon as her festive track, ‘One More Sleep,’ has been officially declared the most streamed British Christmas hit of the 21st century. The song, which has become a staple of the holiday season since its release, boasts an incredible 190 million UK streams, according to data compiled by the Official Charts Company.

Released in 2013 on her album Christmas with Love, ‘One More Sleep’ originally peaked at Number 3 on the UK Official Chart. However, over the past 12 years, its infectious charm and warm, traditional sound have solidified its place as one of the UK’s most enduring modern holiday classics, outpacing other major contemporary festive releases.

This significant milestone coincides with Lewis’s highly anticipated and glamorous holiday residency in the United States. The powerhouse vocalist is currently captivating audiences with her 33-date Christmas spectacular, ‘A Starry Night,’ held at Voltaire at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas.

The residency, which marks Lewis’s first-ever live shows in the U.S., has transformed the intimate Voltaire venue into a full winter wonderland. The setlist features a dazzling mix of classic Christmas songs and fan favourites drawn from across Lewis’s multi-platinum career. Fans still have plenty of chances to catch the show, as the residency continues through the holiday season until January 3rd, 2026.

Remaining performance dates include various weekend and mid-week shows in December, including Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, concluding with the final weekend in the new year. Lewis is bringing her incredible vocal talent and festive spirit to the Las Vegas strip, solidifying her career high with both chart success and a dazzling stage presence.
