Stunning Photographs Capture Daily Life of Teenage Demi Moore in Los Angeles, California, 1977 » Design You Trust — Design Daily Since 2007

Demi Moore, born Demetria Gene Guynes on November 11, 1962, in Roswell, New Mexico, was raised by her mother and stepfather after her biological father left before her birth.

Her childhood was marked by frequent relocations due to her stepfather’s unstable employment, with early years spent in Roswell and Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. At 14, she briefly lived with her grandmother in Roswell before moving to Washington State and later to West Hollywood, where she attended Fairfax High School. In 1978, she left school during her junior year to live with musician Tom Dunston and began working at 20th Century Fox, which led to modeling and acting opportunities. Inspired by her neighbor, actress Nastassja Kinski, Moore pursued acting classes and landed her first small TV roles, already showing the determination that would fuel her future success.
